Introduction
Foundation strip drain is engineered for subsoil drainage applications behind retaining walls, bridge abutments, and basement walls. This solution effectively replaces the conventional method of using a vertical layer of coarse aggregates - a approach known for its high installation difficulty and cost.
Offering high compressive strength and flexibility, it guarantees long-term performance while enabling easy and rapid installation.

Features/Equipment characteristics
Product Features & Benefits:
• Effortless Installation: Rapid and simple setup with an intuitive connection system and flexible construction.
• Superior Performance: Combines high compressive strength with exceptional water flow capacity for long-term reliability.
• Reduced Labor & Cost: Lightweight design eliminates the need for on-site fabrication and aggregate backfill.
INSTALLATION
The Shotcrete- foundation strip drain is installed between piles, extending from the underside of the capping beam down to the basement bottom. Installation is to be performed in accordance with the construction drawings and engineer's specifications. Typically, the drain is secured to the excavation wall using deck spikes.
Trenching Specification:
A trench 50mm to 100mm in width shall be excavated using a standard trenching machine, with a depth of approximately 75mm greater than the strip drain. The strip drain shall be placed flush against the trench side and bottom. Backfilling shall then be conducted with coarse sand or fine gravel to prevent settlement.
Joining Specification:
To join sections, the filter fabric shall first be folded back approximately 100mm at each end. The core dimples shall be interlocked, after which the filter fabric shall be folded back over the connection. The splice shall be secured with duct tape. Proprietary mechanical joiners are available as an optional alternative upon request.
